MAYhem at the farm!
It feels like total MAYhem at the farm... in a good way! This month brought two new additions to the herd ...one sweet little Jersey heifer named May (Daisy's calf), and one Jersey x Angus bull born this morning (Daphne’s calf, name TBD). May prefers to spend most of her time with her tail half up, ready for takeoff, because the zoomies can strike at any time! She’ll be glad to have a playmate once this new little guy gets his legs under him.
So, spring has fully sprung, and milk production is about to be through the roof. Tell your friends, because we are opening up more pickup spots now that all 4 are in milk. We are also considering offering CREAM preorders, so keep an eye out for that and let us know if you'd like to be on the list!
Our chickens have decided to go into overdrive, producing around 280 eggs a week! The incubator is filled, and we are expecting some duckies to hatch in 3 weeks.
On the garden side of things, Rach's hundreds of dahlias (or millions? Is it millions? It feels like millions.) are starting to peek through the soil, most of the vegetables are also in the ground & now we are kept busy watering and attempting to stay on top of the weeds. This year promises to be full of chaos and beauty, & we look forward to sharing it with you.
Please reach out with any questions or needs we can help with.
Thanks again for being a part of this, and for your continued support.
